What it measures
GAD-7 asks about seven anxiety symptoms over the past two weeks. It supports initial screening and symptom monitoring; it does not establish a diagnosis or explain the cause. The questionnaire offered here is in Arabic and intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Completing and reading the score
Answer every symptom item. Scores range from 0 to 21: 0–4 minimal, 5–9 mild, 10–14 moderate and 15–21 severe symptoms. The optional impact question is excluded from the total. Missing responses prevent scoring.
What the result can tell you
These bands describe reported symptoms, not a personal probability of having an anxiety disorder. Discuss persistent or disruptive symptoms with a professional even if the score is low. New or severe physical symptoms need appropriate medical assessment. Answers stay in page memory and are not sent to a clinician.
