Booking, Service and Confidentiality Terms
Dr.AliCare · Dr.Ali Al Farhan · Version 1.0
1. Scope and nature of the service
These terms govern bookings and psychological sessions through the Dr.AliCare website, subject to the selected clinic’s own policy for in-person sessions. We aim to make the booking process clear, and you may ask about any provision before starting.
We undertake to provide appropriate professional care. The service and plan are determined by assessment and the client’s needs. Response to therapy and its duration vary between individuals; sessions and packages do not guarantee a specific outcome. Depending on your assessment and needs, we may recommend in-person care or referral to another professional.
2. Booking and payment
An online appointment is confirmed after payment. The session duration and price are shown when selecting the service and before completing payment. In-person sessions are subject to the selected clinic’s policy for booking, payment, rescheduling and cancellation.
3. Rescheduling, cancellation and non-attendance
You may reschedule an online appointment or cancel it for a refund by submitting your request at least 24 hours before the appointment. A cancellation received less than 24 hours beforehand, or non-attendance, counts as a session for the purpose of the fee or package balance, with due consideration for emergencies and statutory refund rights.
Requests must be submitted through the contact channel below. The time the request is received is used to apply the cancellation deadline. This policy does not remove any right granted to the client by applicable law.
4. Lateness and inability to provide a session
If the client arrives late, the session ends at its scheduled time; lateness does not automatically extend it. If we are unable to provide the session, you may choose an alternative appointment or a refund of its price.
5. Packages
A package consists of four sessions for the same client and is valid for 180 days from activation. The duration of each session is determined by the package selected at purchase.
Unused sessions are refunded at their per-session package price: the amount paid for the package divided by four and multiplied by the number of unused sessions, taking into account sessions counted under the cancellation and non-attendance policy and the client’s statutory rights.
6. Technical interruptions
If a connection interruption affects a session, we will coordinate with you to complete or reschedule the remaining time. If we are unable to provide it, a monetary refund satisfactory to the client will be agreed with them, without affecting their statutory rights.
7. Privacy, confidentiality and recording
We treat what you share with respect and care, and aim to provide space for you to speak at a pace that suits you, without pressure. Your data is used to organize bookings and provide the service.
We undertake to protect your personal and health data and session content through technical and organizational measures, including encryption and access restricted to authorized persons on a need-to-know basis. We do not disclose this information to third parties unless you give explicit written consent or disclosure is required by law, and only to the necessary extent.
To protect your privacy, we reserve the right to refuse disclosure requests that lack a lawful basis, while preserving your statutory data rights. You may submit requests and questions about those rights through the contact channel below.
Sessions must not be recorded or photographed without prior written consent from all participants. Acceptance of these terms does not constitute consent to recording or photography.
8. Communication limits and emergencies
Sessions are provided by appointment. The website and WhatsApp must not be relied upon for an immediate emergency response. If there is an immediate risk to your safety or that of another person, contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
9. Choice and informed consent
Before starting, you have the opportunity to ask questions and understand the nature, goals and limitations of the service and suitable alternatives. Online sessions have technical and privacy limitations associated with the communication method and the place from which you attend. Appropriate arrangements to address these limitations will be discussed before the service is provided.
Informed consent to remote therapy is documented before it starts, after explanation and an opportunity to ask questions. You may decline or discontinue remote therapy, with appointments and payments settled under these terms and applicable law. Acceptance of booking policies does not replace explanation of the service or documentation of informed consent to it.
10. Rights, general provisions and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The client’s statutory rights and the practitioner’s professional obligations remain protected. Acceptance of these terms is not a waiver of statutory rights or an exemption from professional liability.
A booking is governed by the version of the terms shown to and accepted by the client when completing it, subject to any mandatory legal requirements. Future changes will be displayed before they apply to new bookings.
